The Q-lite muffler was designed to help quiet the “wind” noise generated up the CPAP therapy tube. It should be installed between the end of the therapy tube and the outlet tube adapter of the Z1® or Z2® using the short (8”) extension tube.
The Q-lite was designed to be lighter and less bulky than the original Qtube. Unlike the Qtube, there are no owner serviceable parts to replace.
When cleaning the CPAP tube, disconnect the Q-lite. Do not wash.
Examine the Q-lite for cracks or breaks in the plastic and replace as necessary.
The Q-lite In-line CPAP Muffler reduces acoustic noise transmitted to the patient mask through the CPAP tube. The Q-lite fits between your standard tube and CPAP machine with the addition of an 8″ flex hose (included).
The Q-lite is 61% lighter than the original Qtube.
